This crazy stuff.

This article showed up on Kotaku yesterday, and before I link it I want to explain why I am linking it. The article is about the behavior of a youtube user and has examples of his videos where he does something terrible I'm not going to link to those videos because I don't want to give this guy traffic.

Faith in Humanity Slowly Depleting

So I am frustrated that I followed one of the youtube links in that video, but doing so did allow me a full picture of the situation.

First - I am not going to be surprised when this all shakes out if it turns out that this is all a set up. It took him suspiciously long to kill a character several levels lower than him and I saw max level member's of the opposing faction near by at least twice. You'd think they'd do something.

Saying that, if this is real, I would like to preface the rest of this post by saying people who harrass other players in game(s) in general are pathetic bullies who need to grow up and find something to be happy about in their own life.

Now, lets cut out all the anti female stuff from this situation for a moment. Not because it isn't important, but because I am not smart enough to say anything of value about it. In fact, Here is a link to a You Tube video that approaches this section of the conversation. Fine! One thing. Saying girls/women are exploiting boys/men by wearing low cut shirts and streaming on the internet is the biggest load of shit. They are being exploited by our culture that encourages them to flash some cleavage in order to have any relevance. They may be complicit in this but they are the victims, make no damn mistake. Just...watch this. Damnit! I'm all angry now.

Moving on.

This is a stream sniper. Nothing more. Nothing less. These dicks are all over the internet. If not for this guy's insane world view no one would give two poops about his instruction...especially since he seems quite bad.

Part of this falls on the streamer. Why are you streaming leveling on a PVP server?

It would be nice if bullies didn't exist, but they do and that is why you protect yourself. This isn't something that only happens to women. Any popular streamer will get snipers, or people sending them /tells in game with website ads. If you don't protect yourself you will get taken advantage of, some adolecent with a distorted world view is the least of your problems. Ask Devolore why he doesn't stream Blacklight Revolution. Ask any DayZ Streamer why there are black boxes all over their screen. The internet is full of D Bags.
